As a support engineer, you are the first contact for the user to solve ICT incidents and service requests. You speak to the user in a customer-oriented way, and you report the incidents as clearly as possible. The incidents will be registered in the service management tooling. You primarily work independently on these incidents and requests. Where necessary, get in touch with one of your colleagues to find a solution together. You monitor that a solution is located within the contractual agreements, and you keep informing the user of the processing to offer an optimal service experience.

Responsibilities will include:

  • You are responsible for good communication with the customer during a service process or an incident.
  • Creating a well-working solution for those service requests or incidents.
  • Keeping an eye on the requests and incidents while ensuring the solution is handled within the contractual agreement. 
  • You recognize recurring incidents and determine whether this incident should lead to action
  • You are responsible for expanding your knowledge, this way you contribute to the development of the team

Your requirements:

  • You have an MBO-4 diploma or higher
  • You are from a technology background and understand the latest technology stack
  • You know service management tools, for example, ServiceNow and TOPdesk, ICT (cloud) platforms/applications, and ITIL 4
  • Accuracy and eye for detail
  • Your communicative skills are excellent in both Dutch and English, your verbal, written, and presentation skills are exceptional
  • You have a 24/7 mentality
  • You can collaborate effectively with clients, co-workers, and vendors alike
  • You have a positive attitude and a solid commitment to delivering quality work.
